  • Kambri Crews shares her story of living in the deep woods of Texas with pot smoking Deaf parents and her relationship with her father who is serving 20 years in prison for attempted murder. Hilarious, right?

Adapted from her NY Times bestselling memoir BURN DOWN THE GROUND (Penguin Random House), Kambri delivers a candid account of a deaf family living on the edge. Incorporating photos and American Sign Language, Kambri tells a story you've definitely never heard before. Unless you hang around with homicidal deaf folks, that is.

This one-night-only performance will be at Q.E.D. in Astoria, Queens, a performance venue founded by Kambri herself. Q.E.D. has been the home to many comedic solo shows over the years, making it the perfect space for her to workshop BURN DOWN THE GROUND.

A renowned storyteller and public speaker, Kambri has performed on hit storytelling shows and festivals such as The Moth Mainstage, Mortified, Risk!, and South by Southwest (SXSW). She is also an in-demand speaker at colleges around the country. Learn more about her at www.kambricrews.com.
